Concert trips

2004: United States of America

In 2004, the Jozef Pauly-Ensemble went on a concert trip to the United States of America. Since many people already had some form of Internet connection at the time, we decided to send information through our website to our family and friends back in Belgium. You're welcome to go through a bit of our history...

2003: Malbork, Poland

The Jozef Pauly Ensemble, connected to the Municipal Academy for Music and Word in Ekeren but based in Kapellen, has a long tradition of foreign concert trips. Last Summer, members of the ensemble payed a visit to their Polish friends of the youth choir 'Resonanz'. The friendship between the two groups exists since a long time, and both have made visits to each other on many occasions.

2002: Grandpré, France

After an exceptional concert trip in 2001, in 2002 we stayed a little closer to home.
We looked for a good location where we could combine music and diversion, and found it just across the border in France. We stayed in the castle of "La Noue Le Coq" in the village of Grandpré in the Champagne area. The castle was a marvelous base with all facilities available, such as a snooker table, a Jacuzzi, a swimming pool, showers, WC, TV, phone, fax, and last but not least: a rehearsal area!

2001: New South Wales, Australia

To the ensemble, 2001 is a year which will never be forgotten. For the first time in it's existence, the ensemble went on a concert trip outside of the European borders. It became the longest, most incredible and by far the most distant trip ever. To the conductor (Still Jef Van Boven at that moment) and the members, this trip was a dream come true. No one would ever have thought we would be able to do this.
